it's internet geek slang for "the" ...it's just thrown into internet speech as a sort of particle to emphasize the meaning of something..for example:

"That is awesome!" is not as awesome as "That is t3h awesome!"

It's...a geek thing. lol. It originates from the "language" of 1337 (leet).
