oh what is this language?
So, after getting back from a week and a half spent speaking mostly english, german was hard to understand. but upon thinking about it, i realized that it wasn't that i'd forgotten any german. it was that after being around so many native english speakers and understanding all the words they said, i was more aware of how much i didn't understand ( Read more... ) -

i went for a bike ride today. there was this downhill path that just looked like so much fun. think about down hill is... coming back up, not so much with the fun. -

vacation in rome and berlin/leipzig/wittenburg/eisenach
i'm back in thomashof after a week of travel. i had lots of fun adventures. first, making treasure hunt with debbie in rome. Travel time!!
well, in about an hour i'm headed to switzerland where i will meet the wonderful debbie and we will hop on a bus and head to rome! it should be a fun and exciting bus trip (i think it's about 12 hours... but dont worry, i loaded a bunch of buffy on my ipod). we stay there til sunday, then head back to switzerland. then on monday, i head to ( Read more... ) -

well, the trainee retreat last weekend was buckets full o' fun! we made some serious party up on the hill overlooking several cities. we talked, we laughed, we played... it may have been the last time i'll see dora and patrick and family. just 3 months now. hard to believe.
