Isn't that story a few months old?

Why is that relevant? It's about 2 months old, but someone told me about it yesterday and I looked for the link.

the Magdaline boat club connections were probably a big part of his rediculously low sentence.

I wish I could be surprised. Sadly, I'm not. Domestic violence is still never taken seriously by the courts, in prosecutions, and as it affects child custody cases as well.
