Moo headache...

Note to self: Drink lots more water so you don't get headaches.

Weekend wasn't too bad, was rather good really, just ended on a soggy, dreary note come Sunday!

takuropop met me after work on Friday and made her first visit to my house in Mordor. I'm really dissapointed, after warning her about my mental father, she met him for the second time and he was still in this boring, dull, relaxed state. What a gyp! I bet he's doing it on purpose. And she approved of my mummy (who is lovely) and kitties (lovely and fluffy). We watched lots of Jonathan Ross, his Friday night show - he went "Bish, Bash, Bosh!" TWICE! Barry, when did you meet old Rossy?? - made popcorn (like they do in Scream on the stove, novel!), and watched Only Yesterday (Ghibli film). I quite liked it ^^ Mm, farmers, ooar!

Saturday involved spending - moo, BodyShop make-up! Like Leah's recent post, I've started venturing into the world of make-me-up. People are surprised (because I'm still young and have half-decent skin!) that I never wear make-up, but the blemishes etc are starting to annoy me for occassions and photos, and I'd like to look like I've made an effort sometime, or just add some prettiness to my bland face! So now, with help from Nia, I have a basic make-up kit; Mac foundation & brush, Mac blotting powder, Estee Lauder white eyeliner pencil, Max Factor mascara, BodyShop heather-pink blusher and brush, and some stuff that came with free BodyShop giftbag :3 Tangent!
Well, we bimbled around Oxford St before meeting up with Rob, and then went to see Titus Andr-wossname (can't spell), which was... ok, a bit dissapointing. I was expecting ALOT more gore (though we still got 2 fainters and a vomiter!), but the Globe itself was uncomfortable and overly-simple (but hey, it's the GLOBE, meant to be old!). However, the let down was the acting. After being taken in completely by the RSC cast in Sratford-Upon-Avon, these guys were... meh. Oh well.

Sunday, I skived off badminton because my ankle was still a bit unsure (let's crippling!), so I did *not* get up at 8am, and instead had a lie-in, bullied Chris (shortly, before the tables turned!), hid from the rain only to nip out for StarBucks briefly and nourish, and basically bothered Chris and Rob for most of the day. Productive!

Going to see another play tonight, believe it's called Kafta Metamorphosis or similar. If I can understand it, I suspect I'll enjoy it! Even if I don't... I've seen a physical and abstract performance at the Lyric in Hammersmith before and had a bloody good time, so I hope I'm not dissapointed!

It was a bit like Christmas this morning at work. Jen got back from San Fran, with a bag of presents for me! Chocolates from her (look and smell amazing!), a travel frame from a male colleague over there (thankyou gift) and shampoos from a female colleague - eggnog, hot cocoa, and apple cider "flavours". Amazing, I'm going to smell like an alcoholic! :D I love this company!

Rachel xx
