Flexiril knocks a lot of people out and causes fucked up reactions with the most ridiculous stuff. When my back acts up (I've injured it a lot with rowing for years) I typically take flexiril at night and Robaxin at night. Robaxin does have a generic and I find it is like flexeril but better--it interacts less with stuff and, I found that flexiril made me feel kind of... foggy and nauseated, and Robaxin doesn't do that. Next time you see your doctor ask how they feel about Robaxin. Your mileage may vary, but my back loves the stuff.
