I am not a wedding type of girl and so I was all for elopment. The husband wanted otherwise and I agreed because I didn't want to short change him, but I got stuck holding the bag and DIY'ing all the details myself for an event I didn't even want. It was crazy and I questioned my own sanity several times in the process. XD

btw...it is the little weird things that go wrong that you look back on most fondly.
One of my best friends in TX got married beside a lake. There were literally buzzards circling overhead throughout the ceremony. We all still laugh.
