LJ back up issues

I want to back mine up but I don't understand how.

Can someone at least get me started on what to do?

I have read a few descriptions and just don't understand. Is there some kind of software I have to download first? Is it MAC-usable software?

Help me, por favor!

I just copy and paste entries. OR you can just save the pages of your entries. My journal is set to show 20 entries at a time and each time I click earlier I get the 20 entries before the ones on my screen... if you go to file -> save page as you can save the whole pages of 20 entries at a time.
