I am so proud of everyone for updating! It helps alleviate my boredom.

I'm learning how to make homemade ice cream (sans strawberries) so we'll see how my latest culinary adventure goes. Perhaps I'll be able to add this to my list of recipes that I can cook really well. It's a short list mainly consisting of brownies and cashew chicken.

The rain finally stopped. Yay! Well, at least for the majority of the day. Yesterday, I got to go back to the beach at last. When I went out, there were 4 weddings happening on the beach within a close vicinity to where I was. That is insane. It has been raining for the past two days and I think that I'm going to go nuts. I can't go swimming. I can't go to the beach. We all just sit inside...bonding. I'm at my grandparent's house in Merritt Island, FL. It's really relaxing but really boring. I swim in the pool and go to the beach. Nothing too spectacular. I know. Two entries in one day. I am an entry writing machine. But I somehow stumbled onto this Q&A with Kenny Irons and it cracked me up. Everyone may have already seen this, but I thought at least Alisha would get a kick out of how dumb this kid is. A little teaser: He says that his most prized possession is candy...yes, candy. I am loving that everyone is updating. I don't have anything to update y'all on but keep it up! On the bright side, I think that my orientation might actually be a week later than I originally thought so more time to do nothing. But, shhh....don't tell anyone that has anything to do with rush. California was fun. I got to see a lot of places that I had heard about but never visited before. It was nice but it was cold. In San Francisco and the northern part of the state, people were wearing scarves IN JUNE. I could never handle that. Plus, the air was so dry.
