the mcdonald's in tennessee are privately-owned franchises. so corporate doesn't really have much of a say on whatever crap they put on their windows.

kind of goes along the same lines why certain owners/operators (of MCD in mid tenn) only allow G-rated movies in their redbox kiosks, or refuse to have the kiosks at all. they want to keep their stores "family oriented." and, yet again, this is also why certain stores won't upgrade to the coffee-slinging, plasma tele restaurants you see scattered around - they have to pay for the $100k upgrades themselves. not corporate.
