What should I do about DH?

That's a dilemma. I'm personally hoping I can get the week off and be back home for it, but even if I can't, I'll probably have friends in the area happy to join me.

I think if I didn't have people to go with, I'd probably check The Leaky Cauldron. If I remember correctly, they always have a "HP Parties Around the Country" listing whenever anything big comes along, so you could see what's going on in your area and perhaps find like-minded people to be at least friends for the night. 'Cause dude, Harry Potter is so much more fun as a communal experience. ^_^

I'm going to be out of the country, and I won't be able to get it in English for two weeks :(

My mom probably has one preordered, so I might end up going with her, but I might not. Either way, I'm sure she'll read it before I do.

A Potter book release isn't a Potter book release wihtout a midnight party. I would totally go alone if I needed to . . . but that's just me. Where are you living anyway? Are you still around LA?

Yeah, I will probably just go alone. It wouldn't be such a big deal to me if it weren't for the fact that I just feel really alone and friendless right now because I broke up with my bf and my roommate at the same time. Hopefully I can just go and find some friends of the friendless at the midnight party.

I'm still in SoCal. Right now I'm in Orange, but I'm going to be living with my parents in Huntington Beach in July.
