I'm doing better. Life still isn't fabulous, but it is much, much better than July and August. Work has been intense and busy. I really like to be busy, the intense... not so much. But I am employed and making a paycheck so that's always a good thing. My health is still a little wonky right now. I'm off the pill for the first time in like 15 years ( Read more... )

Indeed! I think an increase in outsideness can provide a certain scale that is useful when working through emotionally difficult times. And of course this is hardly a rough time to be outside around here :)

Thanks. Still having a weird time with the no-pill thing, but not too awful. Dude! It was 96 degrees here yesterday and will be about the same today. Yesterday was a record breaker. Crazy! But good for being outside, which I'm still definitely enjoying! How's the house-buying process going?

I am very glad things are smoothing out a bit. Some time on a beach will no doubt be therapeutic :) You and your boys need to find an excuse to come up to Boulder soon. Maybe we will have to provide you with one...

Thanks you. Yes, I cannot wait to get my white ass on a beach. Really looking forward to that, the Costa Ricans... Not so much. I'm sure they'll get over it though.

When you say "your boys" are you referring to Michael, Sid and Maynard? Because Michael and Sid would love the car die, but I'm not so sure that Maynard would appreciate it. I'll ask him though... We'd love to come up for a visit, just say when.
