Today, I had an emotional breakdown in work! I knew that it would happen sooner or later! It was the final straw that broke this camel's back! :-(

Tell me why? I hear you all cry! Well, the first and main reason is that August Bank Holiday Monday was the last day of 1978 that my dad was well enough to go out anywhere on, before he died four months later! Diminutive actor Joe Pesci, renowned for his swearing gangster roles, is to become the new voice-over on the BBC's genealogy television programme 'Who Do You Think You Are?' In keeping with Mr Pesci's character, the programme will now be known as 'Who The FUCK Do You Think You Are?' :-)

It was a year ago today that my mother first took ill! If someone had told me that a year later she would be dead, I would never have believed them! :-(

Things are getting worse at work, particularly on a Saturday when there is nobody on my (Produce) department until 8am! The store opens at 7am and 9 times out of 10, the salad packs have not been put out, and I get irate customers badgering me all of the time for products! As from next week, I will have a new line-manager on the produce department. My current line-manager is transferring to a branch in Bath, as he hopes to become a duty manager one day.
