I totally know what you mean. I've resorted to spend my lunchtimes (and break times... and frees...) in the library. Given the infinite nature of my english course and the large amount of homework from other subjects, this has got it's benefits. I could go to the sixth form common room, but after going there a couple of times I just can't stand it. Not only is it highly territorial (the first day the year 13s put up signs saying 'year 13s only'), but it's so noisy (as people try to make themselves heard over the crappy music being played) and really crowded (and I hate crowds). So I never go there. But it does get lonely =/.
I sustain myself by reminding myself of how much better everything will be when I finally go to university - away from my parents at last, among people who I can talk to without feeling guilty because they obviously couldn't care less about what I'm saying.... October 2010 cannot come quicker.
