I discovered Friday afternoon (of course) that the boys had head lice.  I thought it was Sean, since Sean's school just sent home a circular on head lice.  No note that someone HAD head lice, though.  Now I'm thinking it was Ian, because Ian seemed to have more signs of infestation

Oh, ick! I think I'd be going nuts as well. The ladybug infestation we've got here is bad enough. I can't open the back door or they'll drop on my head.

Good luck with all of the cleaning, I hope the lice go away soon!

Well, we combed their hair again last night and didn't get anything else loose, so here's hoping, right?

Have you thought about cutting their hair quite short, perhaps even a close buzz/shave?

Poor little ones. Tell them their Auntie tashar sympathizes...I went through this when I was in school, too.

I thought about it, but I think it's maybe a little too drastic for one case of head lice. (Besides, we need to do Christmas pictures soon!) It's annoying, though-- I had planned to get their hair cut this weekend, and obviously that's right out.

Sorry - that is no fun - we've been through it! Camden's school already sent home a notice this year as well that there are 3 kids (not in his class but overall) that have been sent home for lice. :(
