Another article, from the Chicagoist, is almost more telling, especially the quote from the Chicago Police Department.  Um, yeah, the reason for the heightened security at a hip-hop concert was a concern

I think it's also really telling to see the difference in comments from locals on Chicagoist, versus the comments on the Human Rights site. It's twitch-inducing to see all these people who are actually actively seeking out a site about human rights and then spend their time derailing the conversation by spewing dozens of excuses for why it's not really racism.
