well, it's 11:38 on my first official day of medical school and after sitting through an entire week of orientation activities and lectures i wish it would just start already. i went to the cadaver lab last night for the first time where we all stood around and looked at our cadavers and then wrapped the head, hands and feet in moist paper towels

Do your cadavers come with names or do you get to name them yourselves?

Did you lean over and whisper in his ear "I'm going to finger your entraaaaaails"?

There are so many reasons why it's good that I'm not the one in med school.

yeah....we've been warned not to do things like that under threat of expulsion from the school. i have to keep myself from doing extremely inappropriate things all the time. it helps that i have so many structures to identify that i don't have time to think of deviant things to say to my cadaver.

so far, i don't think anyone has named theirs....but it can't be far off.
