wow, you know, I always thought you had a ton of friends in Waco because you're so talkative and outgoing and awesome. Sometimes it's good to move somewhere random. It feels new and sort of full of potential. I think I've past that point and want to feel surrounded by familiarity sometime soon. Thinking about Austin, I know I'll have Caitlin, Lindsay and Lea at least, who, like you, I know even if we don't talk as much, will always be there for me. but there is certainly something to be said for starting over. I'm sad to leave Denton because I felt like I was starting to get to know people, but I it also meant entering a group as a stranger when there was already a group. I thought to myself how whenever moving somewhere new, I will always be entering an already made group, even in SA outside of high school, but with high school friends it'll always be some friends you can fall back into. you know? I'm sorry I couldn't talk to you last night, apparently you needed it, so hopefully this comment is encouraging/tells you that you're not

Well, I do have a ton of friends. But nobody super close like you and Caitlin where I can spend a week at their house and spend every day with them. I don't really have people I can just call up and go over and do whatever, you know?

I make more mini-friendships and acquaintances than true friendships.

yeah, I understand, it can be lonley. sometimes you just want a really good hug from someone who actually cares. *hug*
but yeah, it'll be good for you to have a fresh start or new surroundings really whereever you go, even just coming back to SA for a bit I'm sure.
