Hi, I just saw your entry, and thought I'd let you know I get that SAME exact midnight migraine every 8 weeks or so. Here's what works for me: Leave all the lights off, and force yourself to get into the shower. Put your face directly under the hot water, breathing through your mouth for a few minutes. Get out of the shower, towel off, and lie back in bed for 5 minutes or so until the pain becomes unbearable again. Repeat the shower/bed process until you fall back to sleep. This procedure was born out of extreme pain and desperation. It also works for hangovers.
