I was intending on updating this last night, but was far too incredibly sleepy to bring myself to do it. I'm perfectly able to now but I can't think of what I was so keen to recap. So let's just go from where we left off and see if I can remember the exciting bits.

Actually let's go backward.

Today was aight. The best thing was that I got to wear pants. Thankyou weather for cooling down. I was so tired of having to act like a lady whenever I was required to sit down.
Early morn wakeup for Contract lecture at 9. Had some public transport sleepytimes, which are always fun and awkward. Did an awkward little run through the throng of people coming off the bus, trying to catch up to Kira who I'd spotted getting off the bus in front. Even did a classy trip. Sadly discovered that the medium coffees at uni now cost $2.10 rather than $2. There is so much inconvenience that comes along with that minor change. Most of it involving major change (heh).

Oh heavens I'm going into far too much detail. Nobody's going to read all this.

I'm quite enjoying Contract. It's proving itself quite easy to follow so far. Although at one point today I realised that I was absolutely not paying attention to a whole point. And I don't know which point it was, because I wasn't paying attention. Also the marvellously Cockney-Asian lecturer is not very good at rhetorical questions. Misuse of "isn't it?" is the most notable. "So you have to construe what the terms were, now, isn't it?". Kira drew some funny pictures but I can't remember what they were of.

Torts was next. It too was fine.

My Italian teacher is marvellous. Everybody who had him last year said he was so scary, but I think they misinterpret his frustration at himself for not being able to effectively explain things to us as anger/impatience towards us. Plus he has a thick Napolitano accent, and that's not one of the most pleasant regional accents :P. He keeps talking about 'Lay-ten', and it took me a long time to realise he meant 'Latin'. Anyway, I was sitting directly to his right, today, and earned myself a hearty grin and a happy shoulder-slap and a 'Buonissimo!' for knowing what you have to do to the adjective 'bello' when you move it in front of the noun. Champion. This crazy revision stuff isn't too bad. There are some new things thrown into the mix, which keeps it interesting. I was sort of reading a little ahead, and got to a usage of the imperfect tense that I hadn't known before, so wrote it down in my book under "Fun new use of l'imperfetto!". Then when the class got to that bit he glossed over it with a 'oh that's very difficult to understand, don't worry about it'. Pussies. It's true though, 90% of the rest of the class would really not understand it. Because they are stupid, and don't care enough to try. Why are they allowed into university.

I then had a break, which I used to get an Italian book out of the library for my cousin, who contacted me on Facebook yesterday asking me to get it as his library doesn't have it and he can't do inter-library loans until he gets his student card. Woo helpful. I then ate a nectarine and worked on reading una fiabe called Cola Pesce as written by Italo Calvino. I wonder which of Kira and I are more hardcore. She just read a crazy post-modern novel by Calvino, and I read a short fairytale, but in Italian :P.

My last class was the lecture in which Luciano talked about fairytales again for 40 minutes. I was sort of being irritated, I think because I was really hungry.

Trek home wasn't very exciting, but I did catch a different bus home in order to stop by the Post Office and pick up my passport which had been delivered to my house a couple days ago but no-one was hooome. Post Office lady became the umpteenth person in my life to inform me that my name was a boy name in Italy. Ffffuuu.

Theeen at home I wasted time on the computer, including creating a Facebook group under a fake account to try and circulate a fake movie poster for a Twatlympics challenge. So far eight Twihards (all strangers, from all over the world) have fallen for it to such an extent as to join the group. Moo ho ho. Speaking of Twatlympics challenges, here's me reading an extract of New Moon whilst pretending to be William Shatner:

You're welcome.

Aw gosh I should really just do this daily, shouldn't I.
DOTPOINTS FOR GREAT JUSTICE:
-My units require way too much reading and I read way too slow.
-Yesterday I auditioned for Panto, and even sang. I sang the national anthem of Trinidad and Tobago. Moving stuff.
-Yesterday I was at the Reid cafe and I spotted Josh, one of my Italian teachers from last year who I was completely in love with was pretty great. I continued my reading but he eventually saw me and leaned across his friend to get my attention and wave and say 'ciao!'. Brightened my afternoon a bit. Sad.
-I bought tickets to Waiting For Godot, starring SIR IAN MOTHERFUCKIN MCKELLAN. So excited. I'll be four rows from Gandalf~!!~~~!!~!~~!!~~~

It's my birthday soon. I need to pick a day to have people over and cook them food in exchange for them paying attention to me.
