I forget how tiring it is to spend a day with children.  It's only been a couple of months and I sit here tonight totally worn out.  Of course, that's also due to the fact that I have been working long hours getting my library set back up and the days I've spent in meetings and the fact that I was nervous last night

I know I'll soon get back in the swing of things and it'll become routine again. I have a 3 day weekend coming up, but I'll be traveling to visit my family, which will be very nice. I haven't seen them for awhile.

I didn't realize you were a teacher. :) What age children do you teach?

I teach the little ones from 5 to about 10 - kindergarten to 5th grade. I'm the librarian so the kids come to see me once a week for a 50 minute class and to check out books.

I really enjoy my job and I hope I'm able to keep working in the library but budgets are tight and some schools around the state are getting rid of their librarians and library programs. I'd move to the classroom then and be a regular education teacher, but that certainly wouldn't be my first choice!
