My mom and I just signed up for a another cruise next summer. This time we're going out of London (Harwich)! My niece and her husband are moving there next April (he's in the Air Force) and so we'll visit them for a few days before or after the cruise. Oh that sounds wonderful! I've always wanted to go to St Petersburg.

I don't know if you watch The Amazing Race, but last week's episode went to Tallinn. If you go here:

and look down the left side of the page, the full episode 9 is watchable.

Yes, I did see that! That's pretty much the only t.v. show I watch anymore. :) Thanks for reminding me though because I'll go back and watch it again.

We'll be in St. Petersburg for 2 days so we should be able to see a lot of stuff. I'm very excited and have already ordered some travel books and found websites for the different cities. Just the age of the cities and the buildings amazes me as we have nothing like that here.

Oh, that's a great idea! We might go up to Scotland too. My niece said it's only about a 3 hour train ride from where she lives and I can't imagine not going there since we're so close. I can tell already that it's going to be a long and expensive trip! :)

That sounds like a wonderful trip. We had a balcony on the Alaska Cruise and it is so wonderful. I hope you have a great time.

I know we will... I always love having something to look forward to. And, like you, I'll have so much fun planning things out. I've ordered some travel books for the various places from Amazon and found websites and it's just part of the whole experience for me.
