Adding on to what Jared has said, I would also like to apologize. The community we had started and everything we had talked about was to talk about leadership and what's going on in the band. Brad... I respect you as a person. I have been your friend for some time... but I don't totally agree with you. You have tried to be a leader which I commend you for. But in my mind a leader is, like you said, a person who takes doing the right thing into his own hands. I understand some of your concerns and how you may have been worried. but I don't think getting scared and telling authorities was the right thing to do. You only created a mess. The first thing any leader should do is take it upon him or herself to try and take care of the problem before it becomes a mess. You should have confronted the person, talked directly to him or her. even brought some backup... but crying to daddy or what ever you did only made things worse. Like I said I understand what you were trying to do even if I don't agree with it. This never would have been a problem if you had not made it as such and that is the bottom line. You made a mountain out of a mole hill and now we are all suffering. So by trying to protect us, you have only hindered us ( ... )

For your information, I was NOT the first one to bring it up to my dad. When an action with as great of a magnitude as what happened on the Clakamas trip was committed, it threatened to destroy band for the rest of us. No trips. So, it put D.C., Portland, and for next year, Surrey, Fullerton, Victoria, as well as a slew of other trips in jeopardy. I was acting on how I saw fit and I don't think I made the wrong decision, despite the fallout that has occurred.
