Bronchitis

Bronchitis, as I feared. The good thing is that I do think I caught it early, and I have antibiotics to help. I have been sick like this before, but never with insurance and the diagnosis- and not for a long time. So yeah, I am no longer swimming in congestion- it moved to my lungs. Boo. I am hoping to be better by the weekend but we will see.

One important thing I learned when I used to have bronchitis and then pneumonia twice a year (thanks to faire!) is that when the antibiotics are done, start taking a combination of echinacea and golden seal. You can get them in combo in capsule form even at Wal-Mart anymore. The one helps continues to act like an antibiotic but without the (nasty stomach) side effects and the other purifies the system. Also take acidophilus to help repair the stomach. Really, really....

And of course, drink lots of water.
