Thanks! I enjoyed writing it, but feel more comfortable inside Colby's head than Don's. I think I'll try Charlie next, though....

Very nice. This "Donald Eppes Universe of Athletics, was somewhere around synchronized swimming in terms of status." That just made me laugh out loud.

And I really liked this from Don's POV. It filled in some gaps and showed that Colby wasn't the only one who was paying attention in those early days.

And can I just say that your writing style is improving with each chapter as well.

I think I laughed out loud when I thought of synchronized swimming, too.

I had to write from Don's POV to show that others are paying attention - and that Colby's not perfect - close, but not perfect, in his assessments of situations.

And thanks for the kind words about improvement. That's what happens with constructive feedback, more practice, and good role models!!!
