Great update! (goes for the previous one too :p) A little confusing in the timeline for me at some point (the switching past present, because I often forget when the 'present' part is happening)

I know the timeline is confusing. The idea of telling the story mostly in flashbacks worked better in theory than in practice, I thinkg.

This one is especially confusing, since I don't know exactly WHEN the second talk happened yet.

The "present" is definitely mid-to-late 3rds season, between The Mole and Janus List, but not sure about some of the other events... So, I need to figure that out before I write the next chapter...

And the first flashback is definitely around Soft Target because the line about "freaking me out in a big way" and Don's response are allusions to Colby & Don's exchange in Convergence to the effect that "Your brother's freaking me out a little" and Don's reply "Only a little."

My read is, it's an inside joke because of the conversation they had here - Colby's getting used to being in orbit around Charlie.

That fits with the almost adoring look on Colby's face as he's watching Charlie make the calendars in the scene...

At least in my mind it fits! :-)

more please.. Its a good look into what could have happened if things had gone this way. Do we get to know what happened on the weekend? Can't wait to see how things work out when Charlie finds out he's a triple spy. Waiting on next one.
