It's kind of sadly amusing.

Who could have imagined that the pain of being home, this heavy, crushing nostalgia, could actually beat the shit out of the nostalgia for home I felt in Croatia?

This sucks, kids. I love you all, but this still sucks.

You're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't, neh?
Am feeling likewise, Tessa dear.
Sending good vibes y'way, love.

Yes, that would be about how it sums itself up. But that's life, no?
I send my condolences in regards to the fact that you yourself feel the same. *hugs*
Whenabouts are you most likely to be on AIM? It's been far, far too long.
Good vibes to you to, Lola.

Its a phase of life that a lot of people go through. Think of all those poor college students (I think you pity us already!), who, seeking their myriad futures, find themselves far from the safety jacket of home. Or all of those poor souls who go away neutered to some degree, having left part of their libido at home with some picturesque loved one (you know who this is).

And how about that poor shit fuck who tries to grab the world in his hands but keeps thinking that something is slipping through the fingers until he backtracks, inquiring, "what did I lose?" and you look at him and murmur under your breath, "your marbles".

(On a sidenote, I'm in a good mood, and I'm thinking I'm going to post soon)

Oh my God, that night goes down in history as one of the best sober nights I've had in... um, ever.

I called you but it didn't give me the answering machine. Oh well.

I will call you again.

I hates it when that happens. -:(
So, do you live here now, or just visiting? (I haven't been listening too closely, sorry).

No problem. Well, I'm a born and raised Seattlite, went to Croatia for a year as an exchange student, and am back in Seattle. Who knows if I'll live here for long though, because I'm going back to Croatia for the entirety of next summer, and you never know what could go down in the future. So there you go.
