I just found out a couple of hours ago, but I was working so hard, I didn't really have time to mentally digest the great fortune surrounding my life that I get a call in the middle of the day saying I have VIP tickets to go see Stevie Wonder play tonight.

I have giddy glee over the NASA hopper robot. Mars rovers hold a strange fascination for me. I read about the needs-a-cooler-name hopper on Wired.
It is the platonic ideal of robots for me. It bounces to rove. That is capturing the greatness of bunnies, crickets, and balloons on strings, and putting it into a robot. That is brilliance.
