i'm glad you are reading Piggie and Elephant books. they are so silly and fantastic.

also, in regards to Finn falling out of his chair. i didn't know until i started teaching kindergarten that it is a really normal gross motor developmental stage that 4-6 year olds go through. kindergartners tip out of their chairs a lot. apparently there are separate stages for tipping out sideways and tipping over backwards. who knew! putting a heavy beanbag on their lap can really help.
