I used to like LJ_Book which archived your journal into a pdf. So I was a bit disappointed to discover that it is now something that I have to pay for. It is $25 for a year or $70 for two years. I am not sure who you are making the payment to, so it is not a great deal. I think it is just a bit annoying as it leaves me with only dreamwidth as a ( Read more... )

Are you talking about Blogbooker?

https://www.blogbooker.com/index.php#blogsystems

It still allows you to save a year's worth of blog for free (though only 4 times every 6 months). If your blog is longer than one year, you can always save it in year chunks.

But yeah, it would be cool if it still allowed you to save the entire blog at once for free.

Yeah, it used to be called LJBook when it was free and unlimited.

For someone with a 10 year plus journal it is going to take three years to archive, so I regard it as more trouble than it is worth!

Huh? How do they come up with prices like that? It sounds like "buy one at twice the price and get the second one absolutely free"! O_o

I'm sorry it costs something now, and that certainly doesn't sound like a great deal. I used it too and used to back up my LJ with it once a year or so. Oh well.

I don't quite get it to be honest. You can have more books, and you get high priority support.
