Wednesday night I was talking with a friend I hadn't spoken with for a while. He's currently in Iraq as a civilian contractor. Anyway, we talked about a bunch of stuff, and his memory of the places we went together and conversations we had was much better than mine. I'm also on the fence about opening back up more. Most of my clients read my journal, and have been reading it since before I got more locked down about it. And look at Patri, he got a donation for his dream job by talking openly about whatever came to his mind.
There is also something to be said for privacy. The less you show the less there is to be judged... it seems like there's something a lot more important to be said for keeping thoughts to ourselves, but its not coming to me right now ;)
