You might want to get an older, trained dog. Even at work, dogs are generally expected to be mellow and stay put. Most puppies would be unable to do that. They have a lot of energy and want to play ALL the time. And I would hate for you to get a dog and then not have it work out.
I am thinking of doing my internship part time at night, and working as a dog walker during the day, and therefor also being abel to bring the dog with. Will have to see what pans out.
This fucked up economy...thesaruswrexJuly 7 2009, 00:50:32 UTC
has done some odd things. Things you don't think about. For instance. A friend of our family, returned from a Kill shelter, with two dogs. A pure bred, champion level trained border collie, with a chip, that linked to full AKC history, registration, etc. The dog sold for a ridiculous sum and was ranked one of the top in the country. Previous owners provided all paperwork
( ... )
if you can get a dog that Nimbus is willing to help train, and maybe even nap upon, cats' purring literally helps bone density (and hips and other moving/bone stuff) .. could be a win-win for dog and cat alike!

The idea would be that we'd have it with us a lot too, like, he'd take it with him to work. A lot of work places in SF are pooch friendly.

How does a dog let you know he looks good on paper?
