If there is an afterlife, I wonder what kind of conversation Ted Kennedy and Mary Jo Kopechne would have.

I'm just amazed sometimes at how short the collective memory is.

And yet, in every article longer than a paragraph I read about him and his life has some time devoted to it. Perhaps to remind us all? Because everybody has obviously forgotten it?
