There has GOT to be an easier way to update my website.

It's criminal that I didn't have a video camera outside yesterday. I went about planting a dwarf cherry tree in my backyard, and brought Echo outside to enjoy the warm-ish weather. This guy Tim Hawkinson and the PBS series look really interesting.

Had a good weekend. We were out and about town with the dog most of the time. Woke up early on Saturday and managed to score tickets to see The Police in July at The Palace. My friend was murdered yesterday.

A kind, gentle, warm and intelligent man who was passionate about jazz and art was killed in his gallery/home yesterday by a homeless man he was trying to help. My Mom can actually cook one thing, and that is a Harvey Wallbanger cake. It is SO delicious. I may just have another slice for my dinner. It is a damn fine cake.

My house is frEEEEEEEzing! Last night I worked on insulating the ceiling of the crawl space under the addition to the back end of the house. I'm going to need at least 2 more rolls of insulation, then plastic for the floor ( Read more... )

It's Tuesday. I am coming down with a sinus infection, horrid pressure and earache, going to get antibiotic at 3:40. The nly thing I'm looking forward to is taking a nap during my lunch hour.

Have coffee plans later, may very well wimp out.

Also this: I love my cozy house. I love that there is almost always a crockpot bubbling with good things inside. I love that there is an animal with me no matter what room I'm in. I love the plants and the studio area and the japanese lanterns, the candles and the glass.

I don't know what's going on, but I'm sitting here at my desk with a heating pad on my abdomen, that's for sure.
