haha it's karma paying you back for your icon!
Do a system recovery...that usually works for me. Go to the Start menu,go up to "accessories" then a little submenu will come up,and go down to "system restore".I usually restore to a couple of weeks before.

wows I'm a fuckin idiot...you just said your recovery won't work.What does it say when you try to do that?
