Just thought I would let everyone know what I've decided to do reguarding my job situation. I put my 2 weeks notice in 1 week ago. My boss was actually very nice about it and said I could always use him as a reference, so that's really nice. Pretty much everyone gave me the advice to leave Red Star, even my advisor at school. yeah i drove in it yesterday. being as this was my first time driving in very wintery weather, it wasn't a very good experience for me. i guess i am one of the people you were complaining about who are overly cautious and don't want to drive in it. did a 180 in a busy intersection, got stuck on 2 hills but at least was competent enough to get out of it both times. 2nd time I pulled a dukes of hazzard and backed way up and gunned it. I'm glad you got that all straightened out. It always sucks when good jobs are ruined by asshole bosses. I felt sort of the same way when I quit at the restaurant I worked at in State College - I hated the managers and hated being there, but I was pretty attached to being there and to some of my co-workers. I almost un-quit because of all my dumb flailing, but I know leaving was the best decision. :)

Yeah me too! Haha I thought about it enough. I kept thinking about unquitting though until today, now I just can't wait til I'm out of there. 5 days left! WOO. How's your jobbie job going?

My job is going pretty awesome. I don't want to be a secretary for the rest of my life (even if I'm a secretary who never answers phones or makes copies or does the stuff that secretaries are supposed to do), but it's fun and low-stress and my boss is awesome. And also they pay well. ;)
