ahhh the hurricane. this is an awesome piece of writing. I don't know if it was intended to be writing or just an update but it stand alone as a sort of narrative and i love it. and extra points for the title. i wish i had some doritos.

That hurricane was bullshit.

WE got some stuff, but yeah, nothing much. It was very depressing. I mean, I figured I would get a few days of no school, a lot of free time, and I was am=lmost excited about losing power, because I would have tons of time and no distractions to write. Write for days...

But we got some big gusts of wind, nothing major, and some rain. Not enough rain to fill a mini above ground swimming pool. And not enough wind to stop me from running around outside.

OMG, I love how much people PANIC! Good lord! That's insane!!! Even if it WERE a hurricane, people don't need to be THAT frantic (eating in the aisles, running around in a complete panic), do they? I mean, how will that help the situation?
