Yay and thank you! It's so nice to be thought of/back. I miss making icons...actually I haven't made any/really used LiveJournal since I got a laptop. I blame the lack of an external mouse! But I was all ready to post my Sherlock fic and realized I don't have a single icon for the fandom, so I might try to get back into things. : )

Fyi, I am now following you on tumblr! I'm excited to have lots of Buffy on my dash...right now it's mostly Sherlock and Merlin stuff.

That sounds absolutely crazy! But cats and netflix do kind of make everything better. Have you found any great shows/movies on netflix you'd want to recommend? I'm always trying to find more things to watch on there. :)

Woah, I'm looking up info about 'Dear Zachary' and it looks INTENSE. But I can see how it'd be the good kind of intense, you know? And I've never seen Shameless, but I should probably start watching...I have one close friend who went through all of it a while, back, I think. : )

Yay you're BACK! At least briefly.

Right now I'm tutoring K-2 graders in reading in Minnesota and waiting to hear back from the grad schools I applied to. What about you?

I can try to be back more permanently...it's a little bit ridiculous, the send I had published this post I was overcome with a huge nostalgic desire to make icons and things. : )

ALSO, it's very exciting talking to you again! It sounds like things are going well! What are you planning to study in grad school?

Right now I'm in my last year of undergrad, worrying lots about next year (I have my city and job categories of choice pinned down, at least, but I need to start actively looking). I'm theoretically writing a novella for my senior thesis, which is pretty scary and exciting. : ) I think that's all the major stuff.

Still working out the plot details, but the best one-line summary I have at this point is that I'm writing something in between a thriller and drama about an idyllic suburban family that disintegrates when the five-year-old son starts believing his father is a werewolf. Which SOUNDS incredibly weird, maybe. But I'm pretty excited about it.

How did you like the last season of Merlin? Sometimes this season I found myself just staring at the pretty cinematography/knights and zoning out a little. : )

Yeah, I really enjoyed most of season four. (In my case Season three was the one where I zoned out on a few episodes *G*)

Hi! I've had an interesting year! College and all that, plus I'm currently on an internship in Israel. O_O Not posting to this account much anymore, but still reading!

That sounds awesome! What are you doing at your internship?

Reading might be the way to go/what I should do...also I remember how difficult it is to post/keep up with the internet in the midst of study abroad experiences. Israel sounds like an AWESOME place to study, too!

I'm teaching English to African refugees, and helping with curriculum development and other admin stuff. Also working reception. :P

*nods* I actually have a lot more free time here than during the term, but the time difference killer when it comes to actually talking to my friends. Sigh. I'm enjoying Israel, though I wish my Hebrew was better.

Woah, that sounds super-amazing. How'd you decide to work there?

I remember having more time but also just feeling far apart from everything. I wrote lots of emails to friends and didn't skype all that much.
