I thought I commented earlier, but I felt an urgent need to reread and then noticed I hadn't, so I just want to tell you this is lovely, and I know two people already used that adjective but it's so spot on I needed it too :3

Particularly love the little side-thoughts on Mycroft. I want to see Sherlock raging at him next series :P

I'm definitely a fan of the Sherlock and Mycroft dynamic. I want to see John really mad at Mycroft! (And for Sherlock to love John all the more because of it.) I have the beginnings of a Mycroft-POV companion fic to "Beyond the Grave" saved on my computer, actually. So that might happen. : )
