I love it! Particularly liked the parts where she's annoyed that Sherlock seems to have forgotten about her naked and the skulls. I love how she's counting the hours in between texts and how Sherlock is dragging his feet about the plans or fouling them up. Great job.

Loved this!

I'm a bit torn about the Irene character and think the farther from London she is, the more I like her.

I do like this Irene quite a bit better because although she still wonders what she could do with Sherlock if she ever got her hands on him, she knows it's a lost cause. As well as it should be, because he's John's. So everyone else can just back off!

Possibly? It seems unlikely, though, because I have some other Sherlock fic ideas I'm really excited to write out!

My first Sherlock fic, (Never) Mind the Gap, was from John's POV, though. I do really enjoy using him as a narrator!

So, uh, you might not even remember WRITING this comment by this point (aka it's been a while) but "Dictations" keeps coming up in my life and last night I finally sat down and wrote a (REALLY) rough draft of this fic from John's POV, just like you suggested!

Not entirely sure when I'll post said fic, as it still needs a TON of editing and I've got a couple other fics I'm working on right now, but I just wanted to write and say thanks again for the suggestion, and to let you know that a John!POV version of Dictations will probably arrive one of these days to a LiveJournal near you! (Er, aka this one. It'll be posted here.)
