Nine & Rose will always be my favourite 'Who' characters so reading this fic is absolutely delightful. You've really got their voices spot-on (especially the Doctor - just the right balance of serious and manic) and I could easily see this scene playing out just this way on the show. Just wonderful. :D

Thanks! They're probably my favorite "Who" characters as well (though I'm honestly not sure...so many good people to choose from!) And I always struggle with my Rose-voice, so I really appreciate the feedback on that! :D

This was one sweet fic. The Doctor doesn't mind one bit taking care of Rose.

I liked this part the best because it is just like Rose to be so compassionate:
"Course!" The Doctor put a hand on her shoulder and squeezed a little, let it drop. "Only Rose Tyler would worry about me being sick when she's still on bed rest."
Rose pushed a strand of hair behind her ear. She looked at her lap. "I just didn't want to cause you more pain, is all," she said softly.

The Doctor doesn't mind one bit taking care of Rose.
Of course not! He got her into this mess, after all. And there's always work to do around the TARDIS in the downtime. Adjustments to the sonic screwdriver, maybe Skyping with alien delegations to apologize for his last visit to their planet...I think he can find stuff to do.
