State of the Fangirl: Twitter, Tumblr and Forthcoming Fics (I hope!)

It's been a VERY long time, no post. I do miss everyone, though, and I plan to keep this journal going for fanfic purposes at the very least. I thought I'd write in a explain what's been going on in my fandom life, just in case anyone was curious. Here are the highlights...

My wife (I have a wife!!) is on Twitter but I'm not. That said, I have a few (ok, a lot) of people I "follow" on Twitter so I have bookmarks... Mostly rugby players.
Tumblr is scary but good in small doses...
I haven't read much fanfic in aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages but I have been writing a bit, and reading the smut my wife writes (about those rugby players we like).
Oh and yea, I got married to the love of my life, it was a civil union back in April and then last week we upgraded to marriage since it's now legal in New Zealand.
And my son is 6 today which means it's my birthday in 2 days and imma be old....

I spent a day trying to work out Twitter and I still don't totally get it. For multiple reasons, I guess. And I know tumblr is ridiculous, but at least I understand tumblr. I know how to manage the ridiculous/scary--mostly by small doses, as you said!
That's exciting, about writing fanfic! Best of luck to you and your wife. That sounds like fun!
