Ang Lee is my god. He makes my spirits soar - so to speak. I watched Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon again tonight and the ending... Why is it that I love tragic love stories so much? Please, if someone can explain this to me I'd be eternally grateful. I might make you a pie. And cookies. Or both. Maybe muffins

aww, scentence...that's adorable, but frustrating, i agree.
crouching tiger, hidden dragon was amazing, i cried at the end. i think we love tragic love stories cause they make us feel so unbelievably much, which we don't usually feel from real life. controlled extreme emotions. it makes me remember how in high school i used to want to watch the scene in LOTR:FOTR where gandalf dies so i could feel sad and cry.
