i did the radio show today *jumps around*
actually they gave me some 1 hour spot. but they liked me enough to let me stay for the next hour to the show's end, and they let me be the co-host for the show. :D
i got to interview the guest talker who was supposed to come after me. it was some 50 years old politician.
*end of led zep's kashmir*
DJ: so that was kashmir from led zeppelin...
me: do you dig led zeppelin, sir?
politician: weeeeell, i am not too familiar with them. but i kind of like deep purple though
DJ: what song sir?
politician: the one that goes "come away melindaaaa..."
*long silence*
me: umm, sir, that's Uriah Heep, sir...
politician: *embarassed* oh? my memory must have failed me. but i do fancy Uriah Heep a lot
DJ: what's your favourite Uriah Heep song, Sir?
politician: the one that goes " aaaaahh, c'est la vieeee... "
me: um, sir... that's Emerson Lake and Palmer's , sir
further, he ended up confusing deep purple with scorpion ( eh, what? ) and keep messing up pink floyd with the who. oh well. last word from him " well, i don't like music *makes face*"

oh. i met my best friend today, we haven't seen each other in 2 years. we have a lot to catch up. he offered to buy me lunch, but i just had one so i declined. then i found out that he's going to japan to continue his study under japanese gov't scholarship in a few days. now we'll never see each other again. ever. heh. stupid me.
