Looking for some feedback from the local folks. One of the few things I miss from working Philcon was running the film room. A weekend of pure cinematic candy was always a joy. I would so be up for most of these, but especially The Three and Four Musketeers!

Umm, Phantom of the Paradise? Science fiction? In some ways, it's closer to horror, but at least dark fantasy....

Speaking of which, I'd love to see Stardust or many other fantasy films on a large screen. Not to mention almost anything by Miyazaki, which would also fall under fantasy. (However, I am so not looking at you, Lord of the Rings.)

The French did a really great box set of 3/4M a few years back. Lovely transfer, good sound quality, a real pleasure to watch. And you can turn off the subtitles.

Phantom...well, that's just me being me. But I would throw in some of the video from Phantompalooza in Winnipeg a few years back.

The original DVD release is actually missing dialogue, the second American DVD release is the complete American version. I will have to wait till I get home to get the different run times

I'm there. I had NO idea that the 3/4 Musketeers were available on French DVD. From what site did you get that?

For what it's worth, I'd like to see Mad Max and Max Max II: The Road Warrior on the big screen.
