Haha maybe corruption is in their blood... They'd all make brilliant politicians though.

Didn't you also find it weird that the provincial government would condone an exercise in democracy??

no leh, why weird? i doubt such a small experiment requires provincial approval. and even if it does, why not? at such a trivial scale, what damage can there possibly be? approving will also make them look good - hey world, i'm endorsing democracy, i am so democratic!
