 So we're supposed to do a paper for English Comp about art we've created in the past. it's supposed to be about "sense, tone, feeling, and intention," aka the meaning behind it. Here's my problem:

I haven't created a piece of art in almost two fucking years that's got any real "emotion" behind it. I mean, there's emotion in the pieces? But it's not

I dunno. Maybe I'm trying to break away from it or some shit. Artists are supposed to be emotional folks, right?

something like that. i think more that they're in tune with themselves rather than necessarily "emotional" and what that term entails. i guess ultimately the thing is to not lie to yourself.

you don't have to lie, you don't even have to open up or anything. its good to come to terms with it.
like, srsly, I've realized a long time ago that I am not a nice person and I'm quite fine with that.

I like your art Alex. It all doesn't have to mean anything.
