A good Day?

Okay, 2 years in the making.

Today we got a letter from Senator Burr.

The V.A. has reinstated my dad, effective April 2007.

The year of "overpayment" has been wiped out.

He will get a year of back pay.

He can move to the Fayetteville facility.

And since he has money coming in, he will want to get back into the stock market to be a big man. And my papers are about to come through from court appointing me as his guardian. I have discussed this with my sister and my aunt, and it is not a good thing for him to be in the market. He has lost almost all his money since retiremetn - his 401K, his inheritance from his sister, his stock rating (filed bankruptcy after putting stock on credit cards) and then two rounds of day-trader $25,000 fees. Maybe three of those.

He has money left in his trading account, so he can play with that. His V.A. money is going for medical costs and bills.

But I may be borrowing trouble from tomorrow, so staying in today - today was a good day.
