It's totally fine to hate the situation you're in and resent people who have it so much better in that area. I know you, and you won't hate them forever, but sometimes you kinda need that anger so it doesn't internalize.
As for faith, you know I'm not a Christian, so my feelings on that might be skewed because of it. I do believe it's healthy to challenge your faith though. I think blindly believing despite everything is generally reserved for humans of a lesser intelligence than you are. Challenging it, questioning it, and accepting that you're a human being and sometimes things don't make sense is logical. I know what it means for you, so I hope that when everything has gone by and whatever the outcome (hopefully good), your faith is intact, but if it's not, I know you won't take that decision lightly. Intelligent humans are changeable, and if you lose faith now, that doesn't mean you won't find it again later.
