I just watched this kind of sickening beetle fall from my curtain into my bed. I have no idea where the little Samsa is now. And I have to get up early.

This is going to be a terrible night.

*update* the fucker was captured and tossed out the window. I think that was the closest I've ever come to having a complete psychotic break.

OMFG you called it Samsa.

Now, were you referencing JTHM, or actually Kafka which JTHM was referencing? or something else that must be totally awesome to reference Kafka?

I was referencing Kafka's Metamorphosis character Gregor Samsa... who/what is JTHM?

SWEET. Rock on. Way to reference the source.

JTHM = Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, by Jhonen Vasquez. The main character, Johnny, calls the cockroach in his house Samsa, which is referencing teh Kafka. w00t.

No, he was in the bed. I finally found him when he was crawling back up the curtain... maybe he just liked the dive...

actually one of the most erotic sexual experiences I had was in college, when in the middle of a stoned session of missionary position I looked up and saw this beetle crawling on the cealing. I don't know why but something about the creepiness of it set me directly into orgasm.

Bug-o-phobic? I caught the damn thing. As for your lil feminist joke... I'll have you know I'm the only one in the house - brother and father included - who is "man" enough to capture a fucking bug.

So haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
