The Altamaha River Trip Recap
Last night I got back from what was going to be a bigger adventure. I don't entirely feel like I wussed out though. Let me back up a step. Originally I was going to paddle from Hazlehurst Georgia, to a point just north of Darien Georgia along the Altamaha River. I so enjoyed reading this, not only are you a great writer but this is something I'll probably never do myself (my idea of camping is a log cabin, lol) so it was so interesting. I'm glad you had fun despite a few minor setbacks - nothing is ever perfect =)
